Course DetailsThis course (27.5 contact hours) is a continuation of the Level I course and consists of a combination of lecture, testing, demonstration and a large amount of hands-on laboratory sessions. For this advanced course, participants will use the skills they have learned and practiced in the first course to treat musculature that was deemed more difficult due to various safety concerns. Pre-Requisites:Completion of level 1 TDN and 200 TDN treatment sessions logged. Course Objectives :
What are some of the conditions I can treat after completion of these courses?The focus of the level I course is treatment for pain management and sport related injuries. Participants successfully completing the Level One and Two courses will be able to treat pain and dysfunction originating from myofascial active trigger points that can lead to conditions such as; tendonopathies, movement impairments and other orthopaedic and sporting conditions of the following areas:
Who would benefit from this course?Physical therapists, medical doctors, and doctors of osteopathy who work with patients suffering from chronic musculoskeletal conditions. This course will be limited to people who have taken the Level I course, have completed their treatment logs consisting of 200 or more treatment sessions over a 5-6 month period.
