Be Wary Of ...

Common misconceptions about continuing education courses.

Be aware of:

Instructors with minimal experience

Dry needling training offered by an instructor with minimal experience in TDN and minimal training as an instructor can lead to unsafe practice and unnecessarily endanger your patients.  Dry needling is a difficult technique to learn let alone train and there are various safety concerns that should be considered especially when deciding where to invest your continuing education dollars.  KinetaCore instructors have numerous hours of training and clinical practice which gives them a decided edge over other continuing education courses.

Lack of focus on safety

KinetaCore has specifically designed its courses as Level I for instruction to the technique with a large part of the course focused on safety and a Level II which trains the participant in advanced regions and techniques after an adequate amount of experience with the Level I content.

Training offerred by an instructor that does not spend adequate time in the clinic developing their own skills

All KinetaCore instructors work in full time clinical practice utilizing manual techniques and incorporate TDN with those techniques.  Please see instructor and assistant bios for further information on their experience. Listed under "About Us" tab.

Every state has specific standards for TDN practice

KinetaCore makes every effort to offer courses that provide the minimum necessary training for the states that allow TDN.  KinetaCore continues to monitor state to state changes to accommodate as many practitioners as possible while continuing to adjust it's courses as states advance their standards for dry needling.

Will your instructors support you should something unexpected happen?

KinetaCore instructors understand that although every effort is made to train the participant in safety and proper techniques, unexpected things can happen.  Provided the participant follows the procedures taught in the course in their own practice, KinetaCore instructors will support their students as needed.  KinetaCore instructors will also answer any questions that arise in clinical practice in a prompt manner either by phone or email within 48 hours, depending on the complexity or urgency of the question.
